Will a skylight leak?+
Not when it's installed correctly. We use manufacturer flashing kits and ice-and-water shield, then water-test every install before sign-off.
Do I need more attic ventilation?+
Most older Richardson homes are under-vented, which cooks shingles and raises summer cooling bills. We measure intake vs. exhaust and balance to code.
Can a skylight be added without replacing the roof?+
Yes. We can install a skylight on an existing roof, weather permitting, with a clean tie-in to your current shingles.
